Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from losing sight of another mobile object on display or falsely recognizing that the other mobile object has stopped on display.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle system S comprises: an acquisition unit 102 which acquires actual position information of another vehicle V from information received via radio communication; a RAM 12b which stores the acquired actual position information; an estimation unit 103 which, when the acquisition unit 102 cannot acquire information, estimates vehicle speed and a running direction of the other vehicle V by using the stored actual position information, then estimates a current position of the other vehicle V on the basis of the actual position information acquired immediately before, the estimated vehicle speed information, and estimated running direction information; and a display 2 which displays the current position of the other vehicle V on the basis of the acquired actual position information or the estimated position information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
