Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact connector for a vehicle, capable of confirming whether a predetermined bending margin is obtained in a dimensional check in manufacturing and also reliably attaining electric connection by obtaining a sufficient contact load.SOLUTION: A compact connector for a vehicle includes a contact 10 and a receptacle 20. The contact 10 is formed of a conductive plate-like member by sheet metal working, and includes an adsorption surface 11 for adsorption by a mounting machine; solder parts 12 arranged at positions opposed to the adsorption surface 11 so as to be solderable; pillar parts 13 for connecting the adsorption surface 11 to the solder parts 12; and planar contact parts 14 formed in an end-spreading shape to be bendable in a closing direction. The receptacle 20 is formed of a conductive plate-like member by sheet metal working, and includes U shape holding parts 21 for performing holding while bending the contact parts 14 of the contact 10. Inner side surfaces of the holding parts 21 have contact with outer side surfaces of the contact parts 14 of the contact 10, so that electric connection is attained with the contact 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
