Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for transferring a workpiece, which enables increase in speed at which the workpiece is transferred.SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for transferring a workpiece is used for presses 200, 210. The apparatus 10 for transferring a workpiece comprises: a lever unit 14; a lift carrier 12; an intermediate carrier 21; a drive 22; and a transmission mechanism 24. The lever unit 14 supports a holder 15 for removably holding a workpiece W. The lift carrier 12, being vertically movable, supports the lever unit 14 pivotably. The intermediate carrier 21 is vertically movable. The drive 22 vertically moves the intermediate carrier 21. The transmission mechanism 24 transmits the vertical movement of the intermediate carrier 21 to the lift carrier 12 so as to vertically move the lift carrier 12 in conjunction with the movement of the intermediate carrier 21, causing the amount of the movement of the lift carrier 12 to be greater than the amount of the movement of the intermediate carrier 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
