Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flooding of a plurality of rooms when a vessel is damaged and capable of enhancing a freedom degree of design.SOLUTION: A flooding prevention structure includes: a specific zone having a first room and a second room sectioned by a first bulkhead, and not sectioned by a longitudinal bulkhead; a first flooding prevention room provided in the first room, and in contact with a side wall and the first bulkhead; and a second flooding prevention room provided in the second room, and in contact with the side wall which is on the opposite side as the side wall to which the first flooding prevention room is in contact with and the first bulkhead. The flooding prevention rooms are formed by partition plates with end units joined to the side wall and the first bulkhead, having all sides of the partition plates be faced with the first room as well as being flooded when the side walls are damaged, the first bulkhead has a connecting unit with the side wall on the side to which the first flooding prevention room is provided face the second room, and having the connecting unit with the side wall on the side to which the second flooding prevention room is provided face the first room.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
