Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouring cap which is less likely to cause accumulation of a content liquid when the lid is closed, even being the content liquid with relatively high viscosity, by reducing the space between a sealing ring and a pouring cylinder.SOLUTION: A pouring cap comprises a cap body mounted to a mouth part of a container body, and a lid body which blocks the cap body. The cap body comprises a top wall part for sealing the mouth part of the container body, a pouring port opened in the top wall part, a pouring cylinder erected on the pouring port, and a communicating cylinder communicating downward from the pouring cylinder. The communicating cylinder comprises a valve body which can be vertically moved in the inner periphery, a valve seat part which intercepts communication of the inside of the communicating cylinder with the inside of the container body by the seating of the valve body, and a restricting projection which restricts upward movement of the valve body. The lid body comprises a top wall, and a sealing ring which is hung from the inner face of the top wall, and seals the inner periphery of the pouring cylinder. The position of the restricting projection is set above the top wall part. The position in which the sealing ring seals the pouring cylinder is set above the position of the restricting projection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
