Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant engagement-type gear change device for a ride-type vehicle having a ratchet mechanism which can satisfy correspondence to a full-gear change pattern, the securement of vehicle mountability, the reduction of the complexity of a structure, the suppression of the troublesomeness of a manufacturing process, and the securement of robustness.SOLUTION: In a constant engagement-type gear change device for a ride-type vehicle which is constituted so as to be mounted to the ride-type vehicle, and comprises five or more gear change stages in addition to a neutral position and a ratchet mechanism, the gear change device comprises: an input shaft; five or more drive gears; an output shaft; an odd-number stage hub and an even-number stage hub; a plurality of odd-number driven gears; a plurality of even-number driven gears; a dog engagement mechanism; and the ratchet mechanism. The ratchet mechanism has: an odd-number acceleration pole; an odd-number deceleration pole; an even-number acceleration pole; an even-number deceleration pole; and a ratchet control mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
