Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission device that can solve a problem of slippage that is peculiar to a drive transmission system using a belt and a pulley free-from engagement so as to reduce vibration and noise.SOLUTION: A drive transmission device applies a voltage between a belt and a pulley to generate electrostatic adsorption force for preventing slippage. The drive transmission device reduces time constant of current response to an applied voltage relative to a contact time between the belt and the pulley to generate electrostatic adsorption force even at high speed rotation, thereby preventing slippage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
