Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software management system for vehicle, configured to quickly update software on automatic driving function when needed.SOLUTION: A system includes a vehicle having automatic driving function, and a management server for manage software installed on the vehicle. The system includes: determination means of determining whether it is necessary to update the software on automatic driving function installed on the vehicle; and restriction means which enters a state of which restriction is capable when the determination means determines the necessity of update and a user does not permit the update, starts restricting a part or all of the automatic driving function at a predetermined timing after entering the state of which the restriction is capable, and releases the restriction when the software on automatic driving function is updated after the determination means determines the necessity of update and the user permits the update.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
