Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a position of a subject in an image more accurately.SOLUTION: A subject identifying apparatus includes: a first generation unit which generates a first image on the basis of a pixel value of an input image; a second generation unit that generates a second image, which is an image of a difference generated based on the pixel value of the first image and the pixel value of the input image, by adjusting a difference value less than a predetermined value to be larger than the difference value; a binary processing unit which binarizes the second image to generate a plurality of binary images; and an identifying unit which extracts a target image from the binary images and identifies a position of a subject included in the image on the basis of the target image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
