Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to identify a switching point of TLV packets between a main system and a redundant system and achieve seamless switching not requiring analysis of video data and voice data.SOLUTION: According to embodiments, a multiplexer detects an MMTP packet corresponding to a switching point between a main system and a redundant system from MMTP packets to be converted into TLV packets, converts the MMTP packet into TLV packets, and generates a TLV packet corresponding to the detected switching point. The switching device detects input TLV packets, identifies the TLV packet corresponding to the switching point from the detected TLV packets, and executes switching between the main system and the redundant system at the identified TLV packet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
