Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of generating any radial direction power without exerting adverse influences upon a running torque in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In a permanent magnet motor comprising (n) sets of coils having (m) phases, radial direction power is generated by making the (n) sets of coil currents having the same phase different by superposing a current for radial direction power generation on a current for torque generation. The current for radial direction power generation to be superposed is in the same frequency as that of the current for torque generation, defines an alternating current of which the phase between phases is deviated oppositely to that of the current for torque generation, as a basic current and is obtained by modulating an amplitude and a phase of the basic current according to the radial direction power to be generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
