Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device and the like capable of reducing NOx emissions generated at cold start.SOLUTION: An urea injection valve 83, a metal honeycomb 91, a temperature sensor S3 and an SCR catalyst 73 are provided in an exhaust passage 51 of an exhaust emission control device 100. An exhaust gas temperature of exhaust gas passing through the metal honeycomb 91 can be raised by the metal honeycomb 91 that can be electrically heated through control of a control section ECU, and is detected by the temperature sensor S3. Based on a temperature-ammonia adsorption quantity profile stored beforehand in a storage section of the control section ECU, ammonia is adsorbed beforehand to the metal honeycomb 91 and the SCR catalyst 73, and the metal honeycomb 91 is electrically heated at cold start after a temperature detected by the temperature sensor S3 becomes below 150°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
