Abstract:
SOLUTION: (1) The method for treating heavy oil comprises: a step 1 of introducing the heavy oil into a thermal decomposition apparatus (A) for heavy oil to perform thermal decomposition to obtain a fraction (a) containing the pyrolyzed heavy gas oil; a step 2 of introducing the fraction (a) containing the pyrolyzed heavy gas oil obtained in the step 1 into a pyrolyzed oil desulfurizer (B) to perform hydrodesulfurization to obtain desulfurized heavy gas oil (b); and a step 3 of introducing at least a part of the desulfurized heavy gas oil (b) obtained in the step 2 into a fluid catalytic cracker (C) to perform catalytic cracking to obtain catalytically cracked heavy gas oil (c). The step 2 includes introducing at least a part of the catalytically cracked heavy gas oil (c) obtained in the step 3 into the pyrolyzed oil desulfurizer (B) together with the fraction (a) containing the pyrolyzed heavy gas oil.EFFECT: The method for treating the heavy oil according to the present invention makes it possible to treat the heavy oil by a simple method without great change of equipment constitution, to increase the yield of the light oil and to achieve economical and efficient operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
