Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a water level determination device and a water level determination system to drive efficiently only when a river or the like is in danger of a freshet and to operate accurately even when failure or the like occurs in a part of them.SOLUTION: Flood detection units 2a to 2c include: a magnesium cell 4 placed at a height level corresponding to a determination water level, the cell generating electromotive force when flooded; wiring 5 for outputting an electrical current generated in the magnesium cell 4 to an information processing unit 3; and an outer covering 6 having a shape for allowing a flood only from below the units and blocking the flood from above the units. A notice such as of a river water level having reached the determination water level is given by transmitting a radio signal from the information processing unit 3 on the basis of drive power generated in the magnesium cell 4 at the time of the flooding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
