Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus that can suppress occurrence of toner scattering due to replenishing of a replenishing agent on the basis of a function separation type constitution.SOLUTION: A disc member 101 is disposed on a down streamside of a second communication port 17 to lower developer conveyance force of an agitation screw 14 to temporarily accumulate developer. When the disc member 101 is disposed in an agitation screw 14, the developer is accumulated by the disc member 101, and a portion of the developer reaches the second communication port 17. That is, it can be easily realized by using the disc member 101 to keep the developer in the second communication port 17 previously before replenishing a replenishing agent at developer conveyance time. Since some quantity of the developer can be kept in the second communication port 17, the replenishing agent replenished from the replenishing port 40 is mixed with the developer in the second communication port 17. Thus, occurrence of toner scattering through the second communication port 17 due to the replenishing of the replenishing agent can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
