Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reuse of a positive electrode active material layer and a negative electrode active material layer in a recycling process.SOLUTION: The lithium-ion battery includes: a power generation unit having a unit cell formed by laminating a positive electrode collector, a positive electrode active material layer, a separator, a negative electrode active material layer and a negative electrode collector in order; a battery outer container housing and sealing the power generation unit. The positive electrode active layer is a non-binding body of positive electrode active material particles, the negative electrode active material layer is a non-binding body of negative electrode active material particles, and the battery outer container includes an open part for exposing the positive electrode active material layer and/or the negative electrode active material layer by opening a part thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
