Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact lightning arrestor with a separation function that conforms to revised JIS, has high current interrupting capability, and can be easily installed in a distribution board.SOLUTION: A lightning arrestor element 12 is accommodated in one end side of a housing 14, and an internal space 23 is formed and a partition wall portion 25 protruding into the internal space 23 is provided on the other end side of the housing 14, a fuse wire 29 connecting the lightning arrestor element 12 and a terminal metal fitting 32 attached to the housing 14 is bent so as to bypass the partition wall portion 25, a separation spring 31 for urging the elastic force in a direction to separate the fuse wire 29 from the lightning arrestor element 12 is provided in the housing 14 and silica sand 40 is sealed in the internal space 23 of the housing 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
