PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaccine comprising an attenuated parvovirus for protecting animals against infection with parvovirus.SOLUTION: An attenuated recombinant parvovirus comprises a DNA sequence available from an attenuated first parvovirus, where the DNA encoding a capsid protein or fragment thereof of the first parvovirus is replaced by the DNA encoding a capsid protein or fragment thereof that can be derived from a second parvovirus.SELECTED DRAWING: None
