Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling control device of a clutch which can frequently restart an engine when using a starter for starting the engine by transmitting power generated by a motor to the engine via a friction clutch.SOLUTION: A cooling control device of a friction clutch is in a starter for starting an engine by transmitting power generated by a motor to the engine via the friction clutch. The cooling control device of the clutch includes: an acquisition section which acquires a first temperature to be the temperature of the friction clutch after starting the engine; a determination section which determines whether the temperature of the friction clutch is lowered up to a second temperature which can restart the engine within a prescribed time after starting the engine; and a control section which controls the friction clutch to be cooled when it is determined that the temperature of the friction clutch is not lowered up to the second temperature within the prescribed time after starting the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
