Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved methods for preparing a genetic material for diagnostic, prognosis predictive, and forensic analysis.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method comprising (a) providing an amplification reagent comprising an array of an amplification site and a solution having a plurality of different target nucleic acids; and (b) producing an amplification site having a clonal population of an amplicon obtained from a target nucleic acid from the solution by reacting the amplification reagent. The reacting comprises simultaneously transporting the target nucleic acids to the site at an average transport rate, and amplifying the nucleic acids to be transported to the site at an average amplification rate, the average amplification rate exceeding the average transport rate. The reacting can comprise producing a first amplicon from the nucleic acids to be transported to each site, and producing the next amplicon from nucleic acids or the first amplicon, the average rate at which the next amplicon is produced exceeding the average rate at which the first amplicon is produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
