Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which is facilitated in piping construction work as a whole by facilitating the assembling work of the pipe joint itself having a heat insulation function.SOLUTION: A pipe joint for joining heat insulation piping (P) in which a coated layer composed of a foam resin is formed at an external periphery of a pipe main body composed of a hard resin comprises: a joint main body (10) having a plurality of sockets for inserting spigots of the heat insulation piping (P) to be joined and bonding them, and a flank part (13) for connecting a plurality of the sockets; and a cover member (20) which is attached so as to cover an external peripheral face (13a) of the flank part (13) from the outside of the joint main body (10). Then, in the joint main body (10) and the cover member (20), a sealed air layer (50) is formed between an inside surface (21) of the cover member (20) and an outer surface (13a) of the flank part (13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
