Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens that has high optical performance over the entire variable power range even during vibration proofing, and has an entirely compact and light weight mechanism, and an imaging device.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in order from an object side to an image side, a zoom lens group including a group that is moved during variation of magnification, an aperture diaphragm, and a fixed lens group having a positive refractive power that is not moved for variation of magnification and focusing. The fixed lens group is formed of a front lens group and a rear lens group that are arranged separated at the longest air interval from the aperture diaphragm to an image surface; an on-axis beam at the air interval is afocal; the front lens group consists, in order from the object side, of a first front lens group having a positive refractive power, a second front lens group having a negative refractive power that is moved in a direction having a component perpendicular to an optical axis to perform vibration proofing, and a third front lens group having a positive refractive power; a lateral magnification of the second front lens group, a focal distance of the first front lens group, a focal distance of the second front lens group, and a focal distance of the third front lens group are appropriately set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
