Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in output torque of a motor due to disturbance, while preventing rapid change in the output torque of the motor when switching between a rectangular-wave control mode and another control mode.SOLUTION: When an inverter is controlled in a rectangular-wave control mode, an average value of torque outputted from a motor is calculated based on a current in each phase of the motor as well as a rotational angle of the motor detected by a rotational angle detection sensor. Then, a torque variation amount of the motor is calculated with the use of a rotational speed of the motor calculated based on input/output power inputted into/outputted from a power storage device as well as the rotational angle detected by the rotational angle detection sensor. Output torque of the motor is estimated by using the average value and the torque variation amount. With the use of the output torque thus estimated, the inverter is controlled such that it may be driven at target torque.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
