Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter whose substrate can be downsized.SOLUTION: A power converter 100 includes a PIM 10 in which a diode module 11 and a transistor module 12 are packaged into one, and a smoothing capacitor 21 for smoothing a voltage applied from the diode module 11 to apply the smoothed voltage to the transistor module 12. The PIM 10 and the smoothing capacitor 21 are implemented on a sheet of a substrate 30. The power converter further includes a DC reactor 23 that is provided with P side wiring 24 for electrically connecting the diode module 11 and the transistor module 12 at a positive side of the smoothing capacitor 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
