Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling mechanism with a long-lasting cushioning function and a slide rail assembly.SOLUTION: The coupling mechanism is coupled to a piece of furniture, and comprises a rail 30, a coupling base 82, a first base, a second base 52, and a cushioning part 92. The coupling base 82 is coupled detachably to the rail 30. The first base engages the coupling base 82, and includes a longitudinal space defined between the first base and the rail 30. The second base 52 is coupled to the furniture and movable relative to the first base. The cushioning part, when brought into contact with the second base 52, shrinks the longitudinal space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
