PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for manufacturing an isoprene monomer or an isoprenoid compound at high yield and high selectivity, a polymer derived from the isoprene monomer, a rubber composition and a manufacturing method therefor, a tire and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided a manufacturing method for manufacturing an isoprene monomer or an isoprenoid compound by contacting a terpene compound with a catalyst. in which the catalyst is basic oxide or contains the basic oxide, a polymer derived from the isoprene monomer, a rubber composition and a manufacturing method therefor, a tire and a manufacturing method therefor.SELECTED DRAWING: None
