Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of vibration and noise by preventing abnormal high pressure without lowering the mechanical efficiency of an oil pump.SOLUTION: A notch groove 9 communicated with an oil discharge port 4 is formed in one inner peripheral face in the axial direction which forms an internal space 5 of a casing 2 and with which the bottom face of an outer rotor 6 has slide contact. The notch groove 9 is constructed at a three-stage depth with a first notch groove 9a communicated with one lock-in part 8 in the stage that the lock-in part performs predetermined-pitch rotation after finishing a suction stroke, a second notch groove 9b continuous with the first notch groove 9a, deeper than the first notch groove 9a, and shallower than the oil discharge port 4, and a third notch groove 9c continuous with the second notch groove 9b, shallower than the second notch groove 9b, and communicable with the oil discharge port 4. The depth of the first notch groove 9a is 0.8-2.0% of the thickness of the outer rotor 6, and the depth of the second notch groove 9b is 4.0-35% of the thickness of the outer rotor 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
