Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery having superior characteristics.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode including a lithium metal composite oxide represented by the general formula of a lamellar rock-salt structure, LiNiCoMDO; a negative electrode including a silicon material having a structure in which a plurality of platelet silicon bodies are laminated in a thickness direction; and an electrolyte solution containing (FSO)NLi and a chain carbonate represented by the general formula (A) below, provided that the mole ratio of the chain carbonate to the (FSO)NLi is within a range of 2-6.
