PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out appropriate control over a light source on the basis of AC voltage of a commercial power supply.SOLUTION: A light radiation device includes: measuring means 40 for measuring AC voltage of a commercial power supply; a light source 61 for radiating light to a medium; and voltage control means 30 for controlling application AC voltage applied to the light source 61 from the commercial power supply on the basis of a measurement result by the measuring means 40. In addition, another light radiation device includes: measuring means 40 for measuring AC voltage of a commercial power supply; a light source 61 for radiating light to a medium; setting means 13 for setting a relative speed between the light source 61 and the medium on the basis of a measurement result by the measuring means 40; and transportation control means 15 for moving the light source 61 relative to the medium at the set speed set by setting means 13 or moving the medium relative to the light source 61 at the set speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
