Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging method capable of generating HDR still image data by selecting image data suitable for generation of the HDR still image data.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes a temporary storage unit 104a that temporarily stores a plurality of pieces of image data obtained by performing imaging a plurality of times under different exposure conditions. A first image processing unit 106a generates HDR moving image data from a first set of pieces of image data obtained by performing imaging a plurality of times under different exposure conditions. The control unit 118 selects a second set of pieces of image data different from the first set of pieces of image data based on the deviation of an object in the plurality of pieces of image data. A recording processing unit 106c records the second set of pieces of image data in a recording unit 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
