Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system in which automatic purge control is performed even if improper operation is performed to automatic purge object paper after a jam process.SOLUTION: When a jam occurs in paper P2 of a post-processing unit 500, a control unit causes a stopping position of the paper P2 caused to the jam to be displayed on a screen of an operation display unit 410. Further, other sheets of paper P3-P9 which stop in a conveyance route of each unit are conveyed to a position which can fulfill automation purge control. The control unit determines the paper P8 around the paper P7 as paper that gives influence to the automatic purge control, and causes a stopping position of the paper P8 that is excluded from objects of the automatic purge control to be displayed on the screen of the operation display unit 410, when a jam process of the paper P2 is fulfilled by a user and the paper P7 except the paper caused to the jam by improper operation is removed. After the paper P8 is removed from a large amount paper feed unit 300 according to the screen of the operation display unit 410, the automatic purge control is fulfilled, and the sheets of paper P3-P6, P9 are ejected on a secondary paper ejection tray 520.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
