Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which is equivalent to or more excellent than tin-based catalysts in performance from the standpoint of kinetics, and allows curing of the elastomers that is equivalent to or better than elastomers produced by using tin-based catalysts, and leads to translucent materials that do not become yellow over time, and retains its performance in the absence or in the presence of an adhesion promoter.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition that can be cured in the presence of water or atmospheric moisture comprising: (A) at least one polyorganosiloxane A having one or more condensable groups or hydrolyzable and condensable groups; and (B) at least one compound C that is capable of catalysing the condensation reaction of the condensable groups or hydrolyzable and condensable groups of the polyorganosiloxane A and is a heterometallic complex represented by a specific general formula.SELECTED DRAWING: None
