Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger system configured to reduce reduction in a supercharge performance by reducing variations in an engine exhaust pressure.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a supercharger system 1 comprising two systems of exhaust manifolds 4 that are connected to an engine E and a supercharger 2. The supercharger system also comprises two scrolls 11 and 12 which are disposed around a turbine wheel 8 and of which the areas of channel cross sections are different. Between the two scrolls 11 and 12, a scroll having a larger area of the channel cross section is a shroud-side scroll 12 and a scroll having a smaller area of the channel cross section is a hub-side scroll 11. Between the two systems of exhaust manifolds 4, a path 42 having a longer channel length is connected to the shroud-side scroll 12, and a path 41 having a shorter channel length is connected to the hub-side scroll 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
