Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance maintainability of a printer.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a printing head for performing printing on a medium; and a platen roller. The printer includes: a body section which has the platen roller for conveying the medium; and a printing unit which supports one end of each of at least the printing head, a supply shaft of an ink ribbon and a winding shaft in cantilever. The printing unit is rotatably provided at an open position opened with respect to the body section and a closed position with respect to the body section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
