Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall structure of a building and method of construction thereof which can improve sound absorption in a low frequency range by increasing the sound absorbing property by using a sound absorbing material and by increasing the sound insulation property by the weight of a wall.SOLUTION: The wall structure of this building is such that a sound absorbing material 1 having sound absorbing properties is attached to a wall 2 so that the weight of the sound absorbing material 1 is imparted to the wall 2. The sound absorbing material 1 is a non-self-supporting type, and a fastening member 3 penetrates the sound absorbing material 1 to support the sound absorbing material 1. A washer 5 having a diameter larger than that of the head (for example, 30 mm in diameter) may be interposed between the front side of the sound absorbing material 1 and the head of the fastening member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
