Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a bearing of a crank journal generating when starting an engine by using a starter generator in a vehicle engine including the starter generator, and to improve durability and reduce cost of the bearing of the crank journal.SOLUTION: When viewed from a crank shaft direction, a starter generator 23 is arranged on one side with respect to a reference line in a direction orthogonal to a crank shaft 15, and a water pump 25 and a compressor 27 for air conditioner which are auxiliary machines are arranged on the other side. A starting device of vehicle engine includes a clutch control part 45 for connecting and controlling a water pump clutch 25b, a compressor clutch 27b which are auxiliary clutches for connecting/disconnecting the auxiliary machines and auxiliary machine pulleys, when starting an engine 3 by the starter generator 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
