Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the signal processor of a radar device with which it is possible to effectively reduce false detection of a target signal by a range side lobe.SOLUTION: The signal processor of a radar device is configured by comprising a pulse compression unit, a target detection signal processing unit and a data fusion processing unit. The pulse compression unit performs a pulse compression process on the signal received by an antenna. The target detection signal processing unit detects a target signal on a range axis from the signal outputted from the pulse compression unit. The data fusion processing unit rejects an erroneously detected portion due to a range side lobe from the target signal on the basis of the result of comparison of a range axis auxiliary signal that corresponds to the range side lobe with each level of the target signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
