Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design an electrical connector for use in the automotive industry, in particular, an improved electrical contact unit for cables and an improved ready-made electric cable.SOLUTION: A contact carrier includes a contact carrier body and at least one electrical contact element 190 provided on/in the contact carrier body, and the contact carrier body includes a wire clamping portion 130, and the wire clamping portion is formed to be substantially closed in the circumferential direction of the contact carrier body over at least a partial extension range of the longitudinal direction of the contact carrier body. Furthermore, the electrical contact unit includes a contact carrier and a contact device, and the contact carrier can be established or is established in a contact carrier receptacle 200 of the contact device, and the wire clamping portion 130 of the contact carrier can be actuated by a crimpable lead crimp 230 of the contact device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
