Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate DC spark discharge voltage between electrodes.SOLUTION: A spark gap assembly includes a sealed chamber, at least two discharge electrodes, and a non-radioactive gas fill in the sealed chamber. The sealed chamber includes first and second terminal plugs and glassy pipes at both ends, and both ends are respectively sealed by one of the terminal plugs. The discharge electrodes are passed through the first and second terminal plugs, and extended from an exposure part outside of the sealed chamber to a sealed part inside of the sealed chamber. The discharge electrodes respectively have discharge parts having faces to discharge or receive electron of spark discharge, the discharge faces of the discharge parts are opposed to each other, and form a spark discharge gap between the discharge faces of two discharge electrodes. The gas fill in the sealed chamber includes one or more kinds of non-radioactive isotopes of one or more noble gases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
