Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor which is compact in size and superior in heat dissipation property.SOLUTION: A reactor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a core having a rectangular form in section; and a coil disposed on an outer periphery of the core and formed by bending a flat square type insulated wire having a conductor and one or more insulator layers covering the conductor in an edgewise direction. A bending radius of the flat square type insulated wire at a position corresponding to each corner of the core is equal to or smaller than 1/2 of an average long-side length of the conductor in a section. The at least one insulator layer includes, as a primary component, a polyimide originating from a polyimide precursor which is a reaction product of an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and an aromatic diamine. The aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride includes a biphenyl tetracarboxylic dianhydride. In the aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, the proportion of the biphenyl tetracarboxylic dianhydride is 60 mol% or more and 75 mol% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
