Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device, a communication control method, and a communication control program that can perform redundancy switching faster in an on-vehicle network.SOLUTION: A switching device relays data on an on-vehicle network and includes a plurality of communication ports. The switching device includes: a detection unit for detecting communication failure with other switching devices connected with communication ports; and a processing unit for transmitting, when communication failure with another switching device is detected by the detection unit, failure information indicating at least any one of an occurrence place of the communication failure and a communication port which should be used by an object switching device, i.e. yet another switching device different from the other switching device at the time of the communication failure to the object switching device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
