Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device which can control a temperature without being influenced by an external temperature environment.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 11 comprises an energy conversion part 30 and an exhaust emission temperature control part 40. The energy conversion part 30 is arranged in an exhaust flow passage of an engine 1, and can convert the energy of exhaust emission flowing out of the engine 1. The exhaust emission temperature control part 40 can heat or cool exhaust emission flowing to the exhaust emission control device 11 by using the energy which is converted from the exhaust emission by the energy conversion part 30, and can control an exhaust emission device temperature Tc. In the exhaust emission control device 11, since an exhaust emission control part 5 can be heated without using the combustion energy of fuel, the fuel economy of the engine 1 becomes favorable. Also, in the exhaust emission control device 11, since the device is not necessary to be cooled by increasing an intake amount, the performance of the engine 1 becomes favorable. Therefore, the exhaust emission control device 11 can properly control the exhaust emission device temperature Tc without deteriorating the performance of the engine 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
