Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit that can improve air blowing characteristics by increasing a dimension in an axial direction of a bell mouth without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit comprises a body part, a top plate 5 made of sheet metal and covering an upper surface of the body part, an air blower comprising a fan motor 22 and supported by the top plate 5, and a bell mouth 4 made of resin and concentrically covering the periphery of the air blower. A motor base part of the fan motor 22 is directly fixed to the top plate 5. The center of a fan 21 is fixed to a rotating shaft 22a of the fan motor 22. The whole of the fan 21 is located on the side of an upper surface of the top plate 5. The bell mouth 4 covers the periphery of the whole in an axial direction of the fan 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
