Abstract:
To provide a vehicle panel structure having a double skin construction which can suppress occurrence of distortion due to joining.SOLUTION: A vehicle panel structure 11 in which butting portions 70 of a pair of double skin shape materials 12, which are configured from first and second face plates 31a, 31b facing each other and plural rib parts 32 positioned between the first and second face plates 31a, 31b, are combined to each other. In the butting portions 70, a hollow part S2 is formed by the first face plate 31b, the second face plate 31a and the rib part 32 of each of the pair of double skin shape materials 12. The first face plates 31b are fastened by a fastening member 42 along the butting portions 70, and the second face plates 31a are joined by a friction stir welded joint 40 along the butting parts 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
