Abstract:
To provide activable inorganic nanoparticles which can be used in a health field, in particular in human health, in order to disturb, alter or destroy cancer cells, tissues or organs.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a composition (i) disrupting 30% or more of cancer cells in a tumor volume, or (ii) inducing reduction of a tumor size by at least 20% or more if the volume of the composition (Vc) occupies 2 to 50% of the tumor volume (Vt) and if the tumor is subjected to ionizing radiation, in a human patient with a tumor, the composition comprising an inorganic nanoparticle having a volume of electron density (Vin) of at least 5 times of the electron density of corresponding water volume 1 (Vw1). Disclosed is a medical composition comprising the inorganic nanoparticle which are in a fluid or gel form.SELECTED DRAWING: None
