Abstract:
To provide a fuel oil composition capable of effectively utilizing styrene tar by improving the stability of properties of styrene tar and the handleability thereof.SOLUTION: The fuel oil composition comprises at least either of styrene tar obtained from a styrene monomer production process and styrene tar obtained from a polystyrene production process, and thermally cracked heavy oil obtained from a thermal cracking process of naphtha, with the content of the styrene tar being more than 0 vol% and at most 30 vol% based on the whole styrene tar composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
