Abstract:
To improve the positional displacement of an inner ring and an outer ring, and to improve the assembling performance of the inner ring and the outer ring.SOLUTION: A shaft connector 100 comprises: a motor-side joint 8 connected to an output shaft 7a; a worm-side joint 6 connected to a worm shaft 2; and a coupling 20 which is arranged between the motor-side joint 8 and the worm-side joint 6, and transmits the rotation torque of the motor-side joint 8 to the worm-side joint 6. The coupling 20 has an inner ring 21, and an outer ring 25 for exposing both end faces of the inner ring 21 in an axial direction, and covering an external peripheral face of the inner ring 21 in a radial direction. The inner ring 21 and the outer ring 25 differ from each other in rigidity, and a fitting protrusion 22f and a fitting recess 26f are formed at the inner ring 21 and the outer ring 25 as fitting concave/convex parts for regulating positional displacement by being fit to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
