Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner which is improved in heat exchange efficiency by supplying refrigerants which are sufficiently diffused and decelerated in a head of a parallel-flow type heat exchanger to heat transfer pipes which are different in connection heights, and suppressing a variation of dryness at each heat transfer pipe.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner having a heat exchanger, the heat exchanger has a cylindrical flow-in side header, a cylindrical flow-out side header, a plurality of heat transfer pipes for connecting both the headers, and fins for expanding heat transfer areas of the heat transfer pipes. An interior of the cylindrical flow-in side header which is vertically arranged is partitioned into a first space for distributing refrigerants to a plurality of the heat transfer pipes, and a second space for sending the refrigerants which are supplied from a lower part to the first space, and a first communication part shifted to one end side rather than a center in a horizontal direction, and a second communication part shifted to the other end side rather than the center in the horizontal direction are arranged in a pair at the partitioning plate with the center in the horizontal direction sandwiched therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
