PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect propagation of a variable value via a database.SOLUTION: An analyzing apparatus operates as follows: detecting from a source code 14, variables 14a, 14b, a call sentence 14c calling a function 13a using the variable 14a as an argument, and a call sentence 14d calling a function 13b and substituting a return value in the variable 14b; acquiring a log 15a indicating execution history of the call sentence 14c, 14d and a log 15b indicating execution history of queries; determining a data item 16a corresponding to the argument of the function 13a, on the basis of a comparison between the execution history of the call sentence 14c and the query execution history at write operation; determining a data item 16b corresponding to the return value of the function 13b, on the basis of a comparison between the execution history of the call sentence 14d and the query execution history at read operation; and determining dependence between the variables 14a and 14b on the basis of whether the data items 16a, 16b are identical or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
