Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnidirectional mobile vehicle that can be moved in a desired direction while restraining cost by adopting an equalizer mechanism.SOLUTION: An omnidirectional mobile vehicle 1 uses an equalizer mechanism composed of a first frame 10 as a main frame and a second frame 20 as an equalizer frame integral with the first frame and rotatable about an axis extending in any one direction horizontal with respect to a ground surface in the first frame. Either one of the first frame and the second frame comprises omnidirectional mobile wheels 51, 52, 53 and 54 each provided at least one in number across the axis extending in any one direction horizontal with respect to the ground surface in the first frame, a driving motor for rotatably driving the omnidirectional mobile wheels, a control unit for controlling the driving motor, and a commanding unit for commanding the moving direction of the omnidirectional mobile vehicle to the control unit. The control unit selects a motor to be driven in response to the moving direction commanded by the commanding unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
